London Vaporetto Shorts 2025

The 3rd edition of the London Vaporetto Shorts Film Festival happened on June 29th 2025 at The Garden Cinema in Central London. in addition to the screening of films in competition, the event featured for the first time a non competitive section. 2025 also marked the start of an industry programme, with an open mic pitching exercise where filmmakers engaged with industry professionals to receive feedback on their projects.

Olivia is a producer who’s spent the last 6 years at agencies like TBWA and Neverland between Canada and London. She’s produced award-winning campaigns for brands such as Nissan, Canadian Women’s Foundation, Kopparberg, and Melanoma Fund. She’s all about work that doesn’t just look good, but does good.

Rachel Stubbings is a multi-award-winning director and writer for film, TV, commercials and branded entertainment. Having always had a fascination in finding the drama in comedy and the comedy in drama, Rachel earned her reputation by being a prolific filmmaker and has gone on to have her work shown on the BBC, Sky Arts, Channel 4 and many film festivals around the world including Cannes, Sundance and Palm Springs.

Mickey Angelov is a Bulgarian-born producer and director based in the UK. His background is in film studies, film criticism, essaying, and film production. Mickey is the founder and head of development of UK-based company Look Aside Films, where he has a slate of shorts and features in various stages of development or production. He’s a BAFTA Connect member, a mentor under Film London, and part of Creative UK’s Investment Readiness Programe. His debut feature film, ‘Dali’, was part of Raindance Film Festival’s Official Selection with four nominations, including Best Film (UK) a Best Director (UK).
